菩萨能随机以有情无情相现身
[84] Bodhisattvas [Are] Able [To], According [To] Situations, With Sentient [And] Non-Sentient Forms Appear [With Their] Bodies
须知菩萨无心，以众生之心为心。菩萨无境，以众生之境为境。故得有感即通，不谋而应。
[It] should [be] known [that] Bodhisattvas [are] without [fixed] minds, with [the] minds of sentient beings as minds. Bodhisattva [are] without realms, with [the] realms of sentient beings as realms. Thus is there, [once] having connection, then [with] penetration, without planning then responding.
良由众生心之本体，与菩萨之心息息相通，以故凡遇极大险难，举念即获感应。
[This is] truly because [the] fundamental essence of sentient beings’ minds, with [the] minds [of] Bodhisattvas, [are] closely connected [with] one another. Therefore, all [who] meet extremely great dangers [and] difficulties, [with the] raising [of a] thought, [will] immediately obtain connection [with] response.
又菩萨现身，不专现有情身，即山河树木、桥梁船筏、楼台房舍、墙壁村落，亦随机现。
Also, Bodhisattvas appearing [with their] bodies, [do] not only appear [with] sentient [beings’] bodies, thus [with] mountains, rivers, trees, bridges, rafts, terraces, houses, walls [and] villages [too], also according [to] situations appearing.
必使到绝地者，复登通衢，无躲避处，得大遮蔽。种种救护，难尽宣说。
[They will] definitely cause those arriving [at] dangerous places, [to] again ascend [to] open thoroughfare, [those] without hiding places, [to] attain great coverage. [With] all kinds [of] salvation [and] protection, [that are] difficult [to] completely preach.
