[93] 为什么说净土法门于在家人更为要紧？
[93] Why Say [The] Pure Land Dharma Door [Is] Even More Important For Householders?
◎ 在家人，各有职业，不易参研宗教等法。唯此念佛一法，最为契理契机。
◎ [Summary]: [As] householders, each have [an] occupation, [it is] not easy [to] contemplate [and] study [the] essential [and] teachings’ kinds [of] Dharma [Doors]. Only this mindfulness [of] Buddha, [this] one Dharma [Door], is [that which] most accords [with] principles [and] accords [with spiritual] capacities.
净土法门，普被三根。于在家人，更为要紧。
[The] Pure Land Dharma Door universally covers [the] three roots. For householders, [it is] even more important.
以在家人，各有职业，不易参研宗教等法。
With householders, each having [an] occupation, [it is] not easy [to] contemplate [and] study [the] essential [and] teachings’ kinds [of] Dharma [Doors].
唯此念佛一法，最为契理契机。
Only this mindfulness [of] Buddha, [this] one Dharma [Door], is [that which] most accords [with] principles [and] accords [with spiritual] capacities.
老实头颛蒙念佛，念到业尽情空时，父母未生前本来面目，如来藏妙真如性，悉皆觌体全彰。待至临终，定登上品。
When sincere persons only receive mindfulness [of] Buddha, reciting until karmas [are] exhausted [and] passions [are] emptied, [their] original face [when their] parents [are] yet [to be] born, [and the] Thus Come [Ones’] Treasury’s wonderful True Thusness’ Nature, [will] all [be] seen, [with the] essence completely clear. Waiting until approaching [life’s] end, [they will] definitely ascend [a] High Grade.
其或根机陋劣，未能业尽情空。然以真信切愿，持佛名号，求生西方之诚，性能与佛感应道交，亲蒙接引，即得带业往生。净土之妙，妙在于此。
[There are] those perhaps [with] roots [and] capacities crude [and] inferior, yet [to be] able [to have their] karmas exhausted [and] passions emptied. However, with true Faith [and] sincere Aspiration, upholding [Āmítuó]fó[’s] name [阿弥陀佛], [and] sincerity of seeking birth [in his] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss (极乐世界)], [their] nature [is] able [to], with [the] Buddha, [have] connection [and] response [for] mutual interaction, [to] personally receive [his] reception [and] guidance, [to] immediately attain bring karmas [to be] reborn. [On] wonders of [the] Pure Land, [its] wonders are in these.
