今汝等虽求往生，
若发愿不切，
如入海而不获宝珠，
徒劳无益也。
Now, you all, although seeking rebirth [in Pure Land], if [with] giving rise of Aspiration not sincere, [it is] like entering [the] ocean, yet not obtaining [its] precious gems, [which is in] vain toiling without benefits.
