[28]《净土四经》中无量寿经有何问题？
[28] [The] Immeasurable Life ‘Sūtra’ Within ‘[The] Pure Land [Tradition’s] Four Sūtras’ Have What Problems?
◎《净土四经》中《无量寿经》，系魏承贯删削，又依余经增益，理虽有益，事实大错，不可依从。
◎ [Summary]: [The] Immeasurable Life ‘Sūtra’ within ‘[The] Pure Land [Tradition’s] Four Sūtras’, [is] connected [to] Wèi Chéngguàn’s deletions, [who] also relied on other sūtras [for] increasing [its contents]. Although [its] principles have benefits, factually [with] great mistakes, [it] cannot [be] relied on [and] followed.
《弥陀经》，《无量寿经》，《观无量寿佛经》（亦名《十六观经》），此名《净土三经》，加《普贤行愿品》，名《净土四经》。
[With the A]mitā[bha] Sūtra, Immeasurable Life Sūtra [and] Contemplation [On] Immeasurable Life Buddha Sūtra (also named [as the] Sixteen Contemplations’ Sūtra), these [are] named [as ‘The] Pure Land [Tradition’s] Three Sūtras’. Adding Universal Virtue [Bodhisattva’s] Practices [And] Vows’ Chapter, [these are] named [as ‘The] Pure Land [Tradition’s] Four Sūtras’.
仿单中有《净土四经》一本，其《无量寿经》，系魏承贯删削，又依余经增益，理虽有益，事实大错，不可依从。
[The] explanation sheet within has [that on ‘The] Pure Land [Tradition’s] Four Sūtras’, [this] one book. Its Immeasurable Life ‘Sūtra’, [is] connected [to] Wèi Chéngguàn’s deletions, [who] also relied on other sūtras [for] increasing [its contents]. Although [its] principles have benefits, factually [with] great mistakes, [it] cannot [be] relied on [and] followed.
