决应信受佛佛互赞之净土法门
[There] Definitely Should [Be] Faithful Receiving [Of The] Pure Land Dharma Door, [That] Every Buddha, One Another Praises
【经】：是故，舍利弗！汝等皆当信受我语，及诸佛所说。
[Sūtra]: Therefore, Śāriputra, you all should faithfully accept my words, and those [that] all Buddhas speak.
…【钞】: … 良以一佛亲宣，即当谛信，诸佛同赞，更复何疑？
… [Collected Writings]: … Indeed, because [of] one Buddha [i.e. Śākyamuni Buddha: 释迦牟尼佛] personally proclaiming [mindfulness of Āmítuófó (阿弥陀佛) to reach his Pure Land (净土)], [there] immediately should [be] true Faith. [With] all Buddhas together praising, furthermore, again, what [is there to] doubt?
信行愿三，不可一缺，故前文劝愿，今复劝信。
[As] Faith, Practice [and] Aspiration [i.e. Vow], [these] three, must not [be with] one lacking, thus [did the] preceding text encourage Aspiration, now again encouraging Faith.
复劝者，前六方中已劝当信是经，今复明言当信我语，良以不愿，由于不信，不信则起行无由，故佛于此经重重劝信，如《大本》言：「不信佛语者，乃恶道中来，余殃未尽，愚痴不信，未当解脱。」…
Those repeatedly encouraging, within [the] preceding six directions, already encouraged, [as there] should [be] Faith [in] this Sūtra. Now again, clearly saying [there] should [be] Faith [in] my [i.e. Śākyamuni Buddha’s] words. Indeed, because [of] not [having] Aspiration, due to [this] not [having] Faith. Not [having] Faith, then [is] giving rise [to] Practice without cause. Thus, [the] Buddhas in this sūtra, one after another encourage [having] Faith. Like [the] Greater Version [i.e. Larger Sūtra] says, ‘Those not [with] Faith [in the] Buddhas’ words, thus from evil paths within came, [are with] remaining misfortunes yet [to] exhaust, ignorant, not [with] Faith, yet [to] be liberated [from them].’…
往生净土，要须有信，千信即千生，万信即万生，信佛名字，诸佛即救，诸佛即护，心常忆佛， 口常称佛，身常敬佛，始名深信，任意早晚，终无再住阎浮之法，此策发信心，最为切要也。
[For] rebirth [in the] Pure Land, [there] must be Faith. [With a] thousand [having] Faith, then [with a] thousand born, [with] ten thousand [having] Faith, then [with] ten thousand born. [With] Faith [in the] Buddha’s name [i.e. Āmítuófó], all Buddhas [will] immediately save, [and] all Buddhas [will] immediately protect. [With the] mind constantly recollecting [the] Buddha, [the] mouth constantly reciting [the] Buddha[‘s name, [and the] body constantly reverencing [the] Buddha, [this is] then named [as having] deep [i.e. profound] Faith. [As] regardless [of] sooner [or] later, [at the] end without again [with the] possibility of abiding [in] Jambudvīpa, [with] this urging [to] give rise [to] Faith’s mind, [this] is [the] most essential.

【经】：彼诸佛等，亦称赞我不可思议功德，而作是言：『释迦牟尼佛，能为甚难希有之事，能于娑婆国土，五浊恶世，劫浊、见浊、烦恼浊、众生浊、命浊中，得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提。
[Sūtra]: All those Buddhas equally, also praise my inconceivable meritorious virtues, and make this statement, “Śākyamuni Buddha [is] able [to] do [this] extremely difficult [and] rare of matters, able [to], in [the] Sahā Land’s Five Defilements’ Evil Period, [with] Kalpa’s Defilement, Views’ Defilement, Afflictions’ Defilement, Sentient Beings’ Defilement, [and] Lifespan’s Defilement within, attain Anuttarā Samyak Saṃbodhi.
【疏】：佛佛互赞，表此净土法门决应信受故。
[Commentary]: [With] every Buddha, one another praising, [this] makes [it] clear [that] this Pure Land Dharma Door, definitely should [be] faithfully received thus.
【钞】: 佛佛互赞者，以此念佛求生净土，纵一佛独赞，已当信受不疑，而今不但释迦赞于祇园，诸佛赞于六方。
[Collected Writings]: That [which] every Buddha, one another praise, [is Practice] with this mindfulness [of] Buddha [to] seek birth [in his] Pure Land. Even if one Buddha alone praised, [it] already should [be] faithfully received [and] not doubted. Yet now, not only [did] Śākya[muni Buddha] praise [it] in Jeta Grove, all Buddhas praise [it] in [the] six directions [too].
又此佛彼佛递互赞叹，岂非超生脱死最要法门？
Furthermore, [with] this Buddha [and] those Buddhas successively [with] one another praising highly, how [is this] not transcending life [and] liberating [from] death’s most essential Dharma Door?
是以再四叮咛，多方诲诱，恩逾慈母，仁过旻天，粉骨碎身，难足为报。
Therefore, over and over again exhorting, [in] all directions instructing [and] encouraging, [their] kindness exceeds loving mothers’, [and] benevolence surpasses [the] heavens’. [Even if] powdering [the] bones [and] shattering [the] body, [it is] difficult [to be] enough for repaying [them].
