除罪偈
Verses On Eliminating Transgressions
无有修行，重业重报。
一心念佛，必定轻报。
Not having cultivation,
with heavy evil karmas is heavy retribution.
With wholehearted mindfulness of Āmítuófó,
definitely having lighter retribution.
称佛名故，念念中除，
八十亿劫，生死之罪。
Reciting the Buddha’s name thus,
thought to thought within,
eliminates eighty koṭis’ kalpas’
transgressions of births and deaths.
