[4] Fourth Month: Mountains [And] Forests [In The] Fourth Month…
山林四月少尘埃，
自念弥陀不用陪。
[As the] mountains [and] forests [in the] fourth month [are with] little dust, personal mindfulness [of] Āmítuófó [does] not need accompaniment.
新脱素衣摧粉箨，
乱抛金弹落黄梅。
Recently taking off white [mourning] garments, [with] breaking [of] bamboo shoots’ outer shells, scattered [and] littered [are] golden tangerines [and] fallen yellow plums.
穷途作客真为苦，
荡子思乡最可哀。
[At the] end [of the] journey, as [a] guest, [this] truly is suffering, [the] wandering child [who is] homesick [is] most pitiful.
料得慈尊应念我，
朝朝垂手望归来。
Anticipating attainment [of the] Honoured [One With] Loving-Kindness, [his] response [with] mindfulness [of] me, every day [with his] lowered hand, looking from afar, [for me to] come ‘back’.
