If the dying is a good practitioner,
all the more should there be support-chanting,
to further ‘guarantee’ reaching Pure Land.
If the dying is an average practitioner,
all the more should there be support-chanting,
to further facilitate reaching Pure Land.
If the dying is a poor practitioner,
all the more should there be support-chanting,
to further encourage reaching Pure Land.
