[81] 有人言及密宗亦以往生西方为事对吗？
[81] [Is That] People Speak Of [The] Esoteric Tradition Also [Being] With Rebirth [In The] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss] As Practice Right?
◎ 须知密宗要旨，在三业相应。果三业相应已久，便可从心所欲。未到心空而妄欲得者，或至著魔。此密宗一大关系也。
◎ [Summary]: [It] should [be] known [that the] Esoteric Tradition’s main point, [is] in [the] three karmas corresponding. If [with the] three karmas corresponding long already, then can [one] follow that [the] mind desires. [If there are] those yet [to] reach [the] mind’s emptiness, then falsely desiring [to] attain [it, they might] perhaps reach demonic possession. This [is the] Esoteric Tradition’s one great concern.
诺那来上海太平寺，言及密宗亦以往生西方为事。而阿弥陀长寿陀罗尼持之，开囱门，即能随意长寿，或即往生，此语何可一概？勿道尔我不能，即诺那也不能随意往生。
[When] Nuònà [Hūtúkètú (诺那呼图克图)] came [to] Shànghǎi’s Tàipíng Monastery, [he] spoke of [the] Esoteric Tradition also [being] with rebirth [in the] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss (极乐世界)] as practice. Then [with] Āmítuófó’s Longevity Dhāraṇī, upholding it, [to] open [the] fontanelle, [to] immediately [be] able [to], as wished, [have] longevity, or immediate rebirth, how can these words [be for all in] general? Not speaking thus, [of] me not able [to], even Nuònà [is] also not able [to], as wished, [be] reborn.
一弟子以此事问光，光复之曰，此事理实为的确有之，但不可谓人人均能往。
[When] a disciple, with this practice asked [Yìn]guāng, [Yìn]guāng replied him, saying, [there] really is this practice [and] principle, but [it] cannot [be] said [that] everyone [is] equally able [to be] re[born thus].
须知密宗要旨，在三业相应。果三业相应已久，便可从心所欲。
[It] should [be] known [that the] Esoteric Tradition’s main point, [is] in [the] three karmas corresponding. If [with the] three karmas corresponding long already, then can [one] follow that [the] mind desires.
未到心空而妄欲得者，或至著魔。此密宗一大关系也。
[If there are] those yet [to] reach [the] mind’s emptiness, yet deludedly desiring [to] attain [it, they might] perhaps reach demonic possession. This [is the] Esoteric Tradition’s one great concern.
