[51] 什么是有相三昧和无相三昧？
[51] What Are Samādhi With Form And Samādhi Without Form?
◎ 禅宗所说，是依无相三昧发挥。念佛求生西方，是依有相三昧而发挥。
◎ [Summary]: [The] Chán Tradition’s those spoken, are [with] relying on Samādhi Without Form fully expressed. Reciting [Āmítuó]fó[’s name (阿弥陀佛) to] seek birth [in his] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss (极乐世界)], is [with] relying on Samādhi With Form then fully expressed.
《金刚经》说心地法门，故云：「凡所有相，皆是虚妄」。汝不知看经上文说的话，独以此两句，疑念佛求生西方。
[As the] Vajra Sūtra speaks [of the] Mind Ground Dharma Door, [it] thus says, ‘All [that] have forms, all are false’. If you [do] not know [and] see [the] sūtra’s preceding text, only with these two lines, [will] doubt reciting [of Āmítuó]fó[’s name (阿弥陀佛) to] seek birth [in his] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss (极乐世界)].
不知有有相三昧，有无相三昧。
Not knowing [there] are Samādhi With Form, [and] Samādhi Without Form.
凡般若部中许多经，并禅宗所说，皆是依无相三昧发挥者；凡诸大乘经，备明修因证果，并开示念佛求生西方者，皆是依有相三昧而发挥者。
Within all [the] Prajñā section’s many sūtras, furthermore [in the] Chán Tradition’s those spoken, all are those relying on Samādhi Without Form fully expressed. All Great Vehicle sūtras, gather clearly [on] cultivating [of] causes [for] realising [the] effects, furthermore teaching reciting [of Āmítuó]fó[’s name to] seek birth [in his] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss], all are those relying on Samādhi With Form then fully expressed.
