[63] 依普通法门评论净土法门的错点在哪里？
[63] Where Is [The] Wrong Point [Of] Relying [On] Common Dharma Doors [To] Comment [On The] Pure Land Dharma Door?
◎ 错在不知佛力不可思议。
◎ [Summary]: [That] wrong [is] in not knowing [the] Buddha’s power [is] inconceivable.
净土法门，乃佛法中之特别法门，其利益与普通法门，大不相同。
[As the] Pure Land Dharma Door, [is] thus [the] Special Dharma Door within [the] Buddha’s Dharma [teachings], its benefits, with Common Dharma Doors’, [are] great [and] not [the] same.
古今多有依普通法门，论净土法门，由兹自误误人，而又自谓宏法利生者，不胜其多。
[From] ancient [to] present [times, there] are many relying on Common Dharma Doors, [to] discuss [the] Pure Land Dharma Door. Due [to] this personally confused [and] confusing others, yet also personally claiming [to be] propagating [the] Dharma [to] benefit beings, those [are] extremely many.
其最初错点，在不察佛力与自力之大小难易，以仗佛力之法门，硬引仗自力之法门，而欲平论，致有此失。
That very first wrong point, [is] in not understanding [that] greatness [and] smallness, difficulty [and] easiness, of [the] Buddha’s power [i.e. Āmítuófó’s (阿弥陀佛) other-power (他力)] and self-power. With [the] Dharma Door that relies on [the] Buddha’s power, obstinately citing [the] Dharma Doors that rely [on] self-power, then desiring [to] comment, leading to have this fault.
使知佛力不可思议，不能以具缚凡夫修持之力，相为平论，则凡一切疑惑不信之心，化为乌有。
If knowing [the] Buddha’s power [is] inconceivable, [and that it is] not able [to be], with [the] power [of] completely bound ordinary beings’ practice, [for] commenting [on the] other, then all minds of doubts, confusions [and] disbelief, [will] dissolve [to] be non-existent.
