[48] Cultivating Pure Karmas And Learning Teachings Have What Difference?
◎ 学教注重开解，修净业注重实行。
◎ [Summary]: Learning [of] teachings emphasises [on] understanding, [and] cultivating [of] pure karmas emphasises [on] true practice [i.e. implementing].
修净业，与学教不同。一注重开解，一注重实行。
Cultivating pure karmas, and learning teachings [are] not [the] same. One emphasises [on] understanding, [and] one emphasises [on] true practice [i.e. implementing].
纵有不知者且置之，再三看几次，多有前后发明处。
Even though [there] are those not known, temporarily set them aside. Over and over again seeing [them] several times, many [will] have points [for] sharpening [clarity] before [and] after.
即令不了然，且体贴上下文义，当可以意会。
Even if not understanding clearly, moreover, pondering [the] above [and] below texts’ meanings, [there] should [be the] ability [to have their] meanings understood.
