超脱轮回捷径
[1] Transcending [And] Liberating [From] Rebirths’ Shortcut
大藏十馀经言西方净土事，人皆莲华中生，衣食化成，长生不老。
[The] Great Treasury [has] more than ten sūtras speaking [of the] Western Pure Land’s matters, [with] people all within lotus flowers born, [with] clothing [and] food manifesting [to be] formed, [with] long lives not ageing.
其修行法门有九品，今节出众人可通行者。
Its cultivation’s Dharma Door has Nine Grades, now dividing out all persons [who are] practitioners possible to reach [it].
阿弥陀佛有大誓愿云：「我作佛时，十方众生至心信乐，欲生我国，十声称我名号，而不生者，我不作佛。」
Āmítuófó [i.e. Amitā(bha) Buddha] has [a] great vow, saying, ‘When I become [a] Buddha, [if the] ten directions’ sentient beings, [with the] sincere mind [of] joyful faith, desire birth [in] my land, [with] ten recitations reciting my name, [are with] those yet not born, I [will not] become [a] Buddha.’
现世可以消灾解怨，增福保寿。
[In this] present life, [mindfulness of Buddha] can eliminate disasters [and] resolve grudges, increase blessings [and] protect lifespans.
每朝合掌向西顶礼念：
Every morning [with] joined palms towards [the] West prostrate [and] recite,
「南无阿弥陀佛
‘Námó [i.e. homage to and refuge for life in] Āmítuófó.
南无观世音菩萨
Námó Contemplator [Of The] World’s Sounds Bodhisattva.
南无大势至菩萨
Námó Great Power Arrived Bodhisattva.
南无清净大海众菩萨（各十声）」
Námó Pure Great Ocean’s All Bodhisattvas. (Each [with] ten recitations)’
复顶礼念大慈菩萨《赞佛、忏罪、回向、发愿偈》一遍：
Again prostrate [and] recite Great Loving-Kindness Bodhisattva’s ‘Verses [For] Praising [The] Buddha, Repenting Transgressions, Dedicating [And] Making Vows’ one time,
「十方三世佛，阿弥陀第一。
九品度众生，威德无穷极。
‘[Of the] ten directions’ three periods’ Buddhas, Āmítuófó [is the] foremost. [With the] Nine Grades delivering sentient beings, [and] majestic virtues without [an] exhaustible limit.
我今大皈依，忏悔三业罪。
凡有诸福善，至心用回向。
I now [take] great refuge [in him, and] repent [for my] three karmas’ transgressions. Altogether, [with] all having blessings [and] good, [with the] sincere mind, using [it for] dedication.
愿同念佛人，感应随时现。
临终西方境，分明在目前。
May [I], together [with] people mindful [of the] Buddha, [have] connections [with] responses, at all times appearing. [When] approaching [life’s] end, [with the] Western realm, distinct [and] clear before [our] eyes.
见闻皆精进，共生极乐国。
见佛了生死，如佛度一切。」
[With that] seen [and] heard, [with] all diligent, together born [in the Pure] Land [Of] Ultimate Bliss. Seeing [the] Buddha, liberating [from] birth [and] death, like [the] Buddha, delivering all.‘
复顶礼而退。
Again prostrate and [then] retreat.
此偈有大威力，能灭一切罪，长一切福。至诚如是，必 [ii] 中品生。
These verses have great majestic power, [that is] able [to] eliminate all transgressions, [and] grow all blessings. [With] utmost sincerity thus, [there will] definitely [be a] [ii] Middle Grade’s Birth.
更加精进，每日念佛三次五次，或千声万声，乃至昼夜念佛不辍，又以念佛法门广化世人，使更相劝化，必 [i] 上品上生。
[With] even more diligence, every day [with] mindfulness [of] Buddha [for] three times [to] five times, perhaps [with a] thousand recitations [to] ten thousand recitations, and even [in] day [and] night [with] mindfulness [of] Buddha incessant, also with [the] Dharma Door [Of] Mindfulness [Of] Buddha widely transforming [the] world’s people, enabling [them to have] even more encouraging [and] transforming [of] one another, [there will] definitely [be the] [i] High Grade’s High Birth.
罪恶人修以及念佛功少者，亦得往生 [iii] 下品也。王日修劝缘。
Those transgressive evil persons cultivating, and with mindfulness [of] Buddha’s efforts little, [will] also attain rebirth’s [iii] Low Grade. Wáng Rìxiū encouraged [those] connected [thus].
以上一篇，若能刊印单张送人，功德无量。
With [the] above one passage, if able [to] print [as a] single-sheet leaflet [to] give people, [the] meritorious virtues [will be] immeasurable.
