彼岸偈
Verse On Other Shore
往生极乐，
入正定聚，
速成佛道，
如登彼岸。
With rebirth in the Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss, entering the Right Definite Assembly, to quickly accomplish the Buddha path, this is like ascending the other shore.
同生偈
Verse On Birth Together
自身念佛，
愿生彼岸。
劝他亦念，
同生西方。
With oneself mindful of Buddha, aspire for birth on the other shore. Encourage others to also be mindful, together for birth in the Western Pure Land.
