来不预计,去不留恋
[113] [With That] Coming Not Calculating In Advance, [With That] Going Not Remaining Attached
欲令真知显现,当于日用云为,常起觉照。
[If] desiring [to] enable true knowledge [to be] revealed [and to] appear, [there] should [be], for everyday use, [in that] said [and] done, constant giving rise [of] awareness [and] illumination.
不使一切违理情想,暂萌于心。常使其心,虚明洞彻。
Not enabling all emotions [and] thoughts [that] violate reason [i.e. principles], [to] temporarily sprout in [the] mind. Constantly enabling your mind, [to be] empty [and] bright [with] thorough understanding.
如镜当台,随境映现。但照前境,不随境转。妍媸自彼,于我何干?
Like [a] mirror on [a] stand, following [the] circumstances [with] reflections appearing. Only reflecting [the] front’s circumstances, not following [those] circumstances [to be] transformed. [With that] beautiful [and] ugly [being] from those [circumstances], with me, [they have] what relevance?
来不预计,去不留恋。若或违理情想,稍有萌动,即当严以攻治,剿除令尽。
[With that] coming not calculating in advance, [and with that] going not remaining attached. If perhaps emotions [and] thoughts [that] violate reason, have slight sprouting, [there] should immediately [be], with strictness remedying, [with their] extermination enabled [to be] complete.
