不可思议
Inconceivability
甲五、明教相
A5: Explanation [Of] Teachings’ Forms
第五教相。
Fifth, [are the] teachings’ forms.
此大乘菩萨藏摄。
This [teaching is by the] Great Vehicle’s Bodhisattvas’ [sūtra] treasury gathered.
又是无问自说，彻底大慈之所加持，能令末法多障有情，依斯径登不退。
Also, [this] was without asking self-spoken, completely [by] great compassion is it empowered, able [to] enable [this] Dharma-Ending [Age’s] sentient [beings with] many obstacles, [to] rely on this [to] directly ascend [to] non-retrogression.
故当来经法灭尽，特留此经住世百年，广度含识。
Therefore, [in the] future, [when] sūtras’ Dharma [teachings are] destroyed completely, specially retaining this sūtra, [to] abide [in this] world [for a] hundred years [longer, to] widely deliver [those who] contain consciousness [i.e. sentient beings].
[Note: In the Immeasurable Life Sūtra《无量寿经》, Śākyamuni Buddha (释迦牟尼佛) taught that it will be the last sūtra to exist. However, as Amitābha Sūtra is considered to be like a smaller or more condensed version of Immeasurable Life Sūtra, it can be said that Amitābha Sūtra will be the last to disappear too.]
阿伽陀药，万病总持，绝待圆融，不可思议。
[With the] Āgada medicine, [of] ten thousand sicknesses totally curing, surpassing [the] relative [with] perfect interpenetration, [it is] inconceivable.
《华严》奥藏，《法华》秘髓，一切诸佛之心要，菩萨万行之司南，皆不出于此矣！
[The] Flower Adornment [Sūtra’s] profound treasury, Dharma [Lotus] Flower [Sūtra’s]《妙法莲华经》secret marrow, mind essence of all Buddhas, [and the] south-pointing [compass] of Bodhisattvas’ ten thousand practices, [are] all not outside of this!
欲广叹述，穷劫莫尽，智者自当知之。
[If] desiring [to] extensively praise [and] state [it, even if] exhausting [a] kalpa, [this will still] not [be] completed. [Thus], those wise should personally know it.
