[13] Why Is Amitābha Buddha’s Pure Land In The West?
【解】：问：何故极乐在西方？
[Explanation]: Question: [For] what reason [is the Land Of] Ultimate Bliss in [the] western direction?
答：此非善问。 假使极乐在东，汝又问何故在东，岂非戏论？
Answer: This [is] not [a] good question. If [the Land Of] Ultimate Bliss [is] in [the] East, you [will] again ask why [is it] in [the] East. How [is this] not frivolous discussion?
况自十一万亿佛土视之，又在东矣，何足致疑？
Moreover, from [a] hundred [and] ten thousand koṭis [of] Buddha lands [away] looking at it, [it is] also in [the] East, how [is this] enough [to] cause doubt?
