念佛菩萨，无不感应
[86] [Those] Mindful [Of] Buddhas [And] Bodhisattvas, [Are] Without [Those] Not [With] Connection [And] Response
念观音名号，大则大应，小则小应，绝无不应之理。只管放开大胆对人说。
[With] mindfulness [of] Guānyīn [Bodhisattva’s] name [i.e. (南无)观世音菩萨: (Námó) Guānshìyīn Púsà], [it is with the] great [(Bodhi) Mind] then [with] great responses, [with the] small [mind] then [with] small responses, absolutely without reason of not [having] responses. By all means openly [and] courageously to people say [this].
彼不见感应者（感应之迹，有显感显应、冥感冥应、冥感显应、显感冥应。见《正编·石印普陀山志序》），亦未尝无感应也。
Those not seeing connections [with] responses, [are] but [those] not yet [seeing them, thus] ‘without’ connections [with] responses. (Manifestations of connections [with] responses, have clear connections [with] clear responses, obscure connections [with] obscure responses, obscure connections [with] clear responses, [and] clear connections [with] obscure responses.
