一心念佛，不悟亦生
[With] Wholehearted Mindfulness [Of] Buddha, [Those] Not Awakened Likewise [Can Be] Born [In Pure Land]
欲生净土，须先认清宗旨。
Desiring [to be] born [in Āmítuófó’s] Pure Land, [there] must first [be] clear recognition [of its] objective.
普通修持，无不以开悟为希冀，而开悟一事，亦非易易。
Common practices, [are] without [those] not with awakening as hope, yet [on] awakening, [this] one matter, [it is] likewise not very easy [to attain].
若知净土宗旨，决不预期开悟。
If knowing [the] Pure Land [teachings’] objective, definitely not expecting [to be] awakened [here].
若不注重信愿，开悟亦难了脱。
If not emphasising [on] Faith [and] Aspiration, [those] awakened [are] likewise difficult [to be] liberated.
若能一心念佛，不悟亦可往生。
If able [to] wholeheartedly [be] mindful [of the] Buddha, [those] not awakened likewise can [be] reborn [there].

【若能往生净土，决定开悟成佛。】
[If able to be reborn in Pure Land, definitely attaining awakening and accomplishing of Buddhahood.]
