Āmítuófó’s Name’s Transcendent And Inclusive Nature 阿弥陀佛名号之超越性与包括性

莫讶一称超十地，
可知六字括三乘。

Do not [be] astounded [that] one recitation [of the Buddha’s] name [‘Āmítuófó’ (阿弥陀佛)] transcends [the] Ten Grounds, [as it] should [be] known [that the] six words [of ‘Námó Āmítuófó’ (南无阿弥陀佛)] include [the] Three Vehicles.

Notes:

The Ten Grounds (十地) are among the final Bodhisattva stages leading to Buddhahood (佛果):

(i) Joy Ground (欢喜地)
(ii) Departure From Defilements Ground (离垢地)
(iii) Illumination Ground (发光地)
(iv) Flaming Wisdom Ground (燄慧地)
(v) Difficult Victory Ground (难胜地)
(vi) Manifesting Presently Ground (现前地)
(vii) Far Gone Ground (远行地)
(viii) Immovable Ground (不动地)
(ix) Good Wisdom Ground (善慧地)
(x) Dharma Cloud Ground (法云地)

(1) All born in Āmítuófó’s (阿弥陀佛) Pure Land (净土) will quickly attain the Eighth Ground (八地) of non-retrogression (不退转) by default,
(2) and swiftly progress to transcend the Tenth Ground (十地) (which is the 50th stage of Bodhisattvahood),
(3) to attain the next stage of Equal Awakening (等觉) (which is the 51st stage of Bodhisattvahood),
(4) to be ready to manifest Buddhahood (佛果) (which is the 52nd and final stage of Bodhisattvahood) elsewhere.

The Three Vehicles (三乘) contain all the teachings for self-liberation and liberation of all (自度度他), (as can be seen in the quote below too):

(i) Voice-Hearers (声闻)
(ii) Pratyekabuddhas (辟支佛)
(iii) Bodhisattvas (菩萨)

Explanation Of Quote: With one (or more) utmost sincere moment(s) of mindfulness of Āmítuófó’s name (阿弥陀佛), his Pure Land (净土) can be reached, where there will be attainment of the Eighth Ground (八地), and further mindfulness for transcendence of the Ten Grounds (十地), for swiftly reaching the 51st stage of Bodhisattvahood, as ‘homage to and refuge for life’ (Námó: 南无) in Āmítuófó naturally include mastery of all the Three Vehicles’ (三乘) teachings.
