【九、明昼夜寝觉时愿】
[20] [VS9] [Ninth: Explanation (Of) Aspirations When (In) Day (And) Night Sleeping (And) Waking]

若洗足时，
当愿众生，
具神足力，
所行无碍。
If when washing feet,
[there] should [be] aspiration [for] sentient beings,
[to be] complete [with] supernormal feet’s power,
[with] places travelled [to] without obstacles.
[Note: Supernormal feet’s power is the psychic ability of physical travel and flight, including by teleportation and multiple manifestations. This is used for reaching various places to learn, practise, realise and teach the Dharma. All supernormal powers can be utilised by reaching Pure Land.]
[V140]
以时寝息，
当愿众生，
身得安隐，
心无动乱。
When with sleeping [and] resting,
[there] should [be] aspiration [for] sentient beings,
[to be with] bodies attaining tranquillity,
[and] minds without restlessness [and] scatteredness.
[Note: True rest is with the peaceful body and gathered mind, without being disturbed physically and mentally, so as to recharge for further Dharma learning, practice, realisation and teaching.]

睡眠始寤，
当愿众生，
一切智觉，
周顾十方。
[From] sleep beginning [to] awake,
[there] should [be] aspiration [for] sentient beings,
[to be with] all[-knowing] wisdom’s awakening,
[to] see everything [in the] ten directions.
[Note: With physical awaking, be mindful to become spiritually awakened, and to spiritually awaken all other beings, so as to attain the perfect wisdom of Buddhahood. All-knowing wisdom is the omniscience that all Buddhas have realised.]
[Extra Note: The above last photo-quote in the series was designed on the 19th day of the 11th lunar month in the year 2024, which happened to be the sacred birthday (圣诞) of Sun Light Bodhisattva (日光菩萨). It was shortly before dawn of the next day.
Note connections of the quote with the sunlight and film‘s image in the photo (from ‘Alien: Romulus’), which allude to awakening to the light of wisdom. (The protagonist was looking for the sun.) These factors ‘coincided’ auspiciously as the photo was taken and later found and used without thinking about all these apt connections at first.
