[15.3] [The Middle Grade’s Low Births]
[For] those [of] Middle Grade’s Low Births, if [there] are good men [and] good women, [with] filial piety support [of their] fathers [and] mothers, [who] practise worldly benevolence [and] loving-kindness.
These persons, when [their] lives almost end, meet good-knowing friends, for them extensively speaking [of] Amitā[bha] Buddha Land’s blissful matters, likewise speaking [of] Dharma Treasury Bhikṣu’s forty-eight vows.
[Having] heard these matters already, soon then [with their] lives ending. For example, like [a] strong man bending [or] extending [an] arm [in] a short moment, [they are] immediately born [in the] Western Land [Of] Ultimate Bliss.
[Having] passed seven days already, [they will] meet Contemplator [Of The] World’s Sounds, and Great Power Arrived. Hearing [the] Dharma [with] joy, attaining [as] Srotāpannas.
Passing one small kalpa, accomplishing [as] Arhats. [These] are named [as] those [with] Middle Grade’s Low Births. [These] are named [the] Middle Grade’s Births’ Contemplation, named [the] Fifteenth Contemplation.’
