令慈既多年茹素，虔奉观音，尤当以净土法门，常为劝导。
Your esteemed Mother, since [for] many years, [has been] eating [as a] veg[etari]an, devotedly making offerings [to] Guānyīn [Bodhisattva, she] should particularly, with [the] Pure Land Dharma Door, be constantly advised [and] guided [with mindfulness of Āmítuófó or Guānyīn Bodhisattva].
俾得信愿行，一一圆具，则他年寿尽，便预莲池海会，与弥陀观音，常相晤对。
Enabling [her to] attain Faith, Aspiration [and] Practice, [with] each and every one completely equipped, thus [when] her life’s years end, [she will] then advance [to the] lotus pond’s ocean-like assembly, with Āmítuófó [and] Guānyīn [Bodhisattva], often meeting [and] conversing with one another.
此之一著，乃究竟荣亲报亲之道。
Of this one method then, [it is the] actual path of honouring [your] parents, [and for] repaying [the kindness of your] parents.
阁下既有信心，固宜于此致力。
Your distinguished self, since having Faith, of course should for this [matter] devote your efforts.
余者皆世谛中事，究于亲身心性命，无甚关系也。
All other matters [are] within worldly [i.e. relative] truths, after all, with regards to [your] parents’ physical [and] spiritual lives, without any relation.
成就亲生净土，即成就亲作佛也。
Accomplishing [your] parents’ births [in] Pure Land, is [to] accomplish [your] parents [to] become Buddhas.
亲若作佛，己必蒙其摄受。
[Your] parents, if becoming Buddhas, [you] yourself will receive their gathering [and] receiving, [to reach Pure Land too].
