《普贤菩萨警众偈》
Universal Virtue (Samantabhadra) Bodhisattva’s Verses [For] Alerting Everyone
是日已过,命亦随减。
如少水鱼,斯有何乐?
This day [has] already passed,
[and] life [has] also accordingly reduced.
Like fish [with] less water,
this has what joy?
大众!
Great assembly!
当勤精进,如救头燃。
但念无常,慎勿放逸。
[You] should [be] diligent,
like saving [your] head [from] burning.
Only [be] mindful [of] impermanence,
[and be] careful [to] not [be] lax.
[南无阿弥陀佛]
