不作不食，念佛不断
Without Work Not Eating, With Mindfulness Of Buddha Not Ceasing
一日不作，
一日不食。
百丈禅师
A day without working,
is a day without eating.

生死不断,
念佛不断。
With the cycle of birth and death not severed,
have mindfulness of Buddha not ceased.
