诸佛劝生极乐偈
Verses On All Buddhas Encouraging Birth In The Land Of Ultimate Bliss
本师已在三百经，
劝说生极乐世界，
单在阿弥陀经中，
三劝发愿生西方。
Our fundamental teacher Śākyamuni Buddha already in around three hundred sūtras, persuaded all to be born in the Land Of Ultimate Bliss, within the Amitābha Sūtra alone, thrice encouraging us to give rise to the Aspiration for birth in the Western Pure Land.
无上甚深微妙法，
世人无知而应知，
所以无问而自说，
六方诸佛也劝信。
With unsurpassable, extremely profound, subtle and wonderful Dharma, the world’s people were without knowledge of it, yet all should know it, therefore without being asked, yet with the Buddha personally speaking it, with the six directions’ all Buddhas also encouraging Faith in it.
信佛说阿弥陀经，
发愿生极乐世界，
以念佛为正行修，
即是依诸佛所说。
With Faith in The Buddha’s Spoken Amitābha Sūtra, giving rise to Aspiration for birth in the Land Of Ultimate Bliss, and with mindfulness of the Buddha’s name (Āmítuófó) as the Main Practice cultivating, this then is relying on that which all Buddhas speak.
