备说
[10] Speaking Of Preparation
昼必有夜，
必为夜备；
暑必有寒，
必为寒备；
[As with] day [there] must be night, [there] must [be] for night preparation. [As with] heat [there] must be cold, [there] must [be] for cold preparation.
存必有去，
必为去备；
何为夜备？
灯烛床蓐；
[As with] living [there] must be dying, [there] must [be] for dying preparation. How [to] for night [have] preparation? [With] lamps, candles, beds [and] mats.
何为寒备？
衾裘炭薪。
何为去备？
福慧净土。
How [to] for cold [have] preparation? [With] quilts, coats, charcoal [and] firewood. How [to] for dying [have] preparation? [With] blessings [and] wisdom [for] Pure Land.
