虚心偈
Verses [On The] Humble Mind
净土法门，
不可思议，
不虚心学，
不知弘大。
[As the] Pure Land Dharma Door, [is] inconceivable, [if] not [with the] humble mind learning, not knowing [its] greatness.
失往佛国，
失速见佛，
失速学佛，
失速成佛。
Losing rebirth [in the] Buddha’s [Pure] Land, losing quick seeing [of the] Buddha, losing quick learning [from the] Buddha, losing quick accomplishing [as a] Buddha.
失速自度，
失速度他，
失报佛恩，
失报众恩。
Losing quick self-deliverance, losing quick deliverance [of] others, losing repaying [of the] Buddha’s kindness, losing repaying [of all] sentient beings’ kindness.
