三念偈
Verses [On] Three Recitations
先念忏悔文，
令心较清净。
才念佛名号，
令心更清净。
First [have] recitation [of the] Repentance Text, [to] enable [the] mind [to be] more pure. Then [have] recitation [of the] Buddha’s name, [to] enable [the] mind [to be] even [more] pure.
先忏诸恶业，
才积多功德。
后念回向文，
如此修净业。
First repenting [for] all evil karma, then accumulating much meritorious virtues. Later [with] recitation [of the] Dedication Text, like this cultivate pure karma.
