可说偈
Verses [On What] Can [Be] Spoken
离经一字，
可成魔说。
佛言祖语，
不可误说。
[What] departs [from a] sūtra [by] one word, can become [what] Māra says. [The] Buddha’s words [and the] Patriarchs’ teachings, must not [be] mistakenly spoken.
有疑可问，
不应谤说。
法未理清，
不许乱说。
[If] having doubts, [they] can [be] asked, [but there] should not [be] slanderous speak. [With the] Dharma’s principles yet [to be] clarified, [there] must not [be] careless speak.
