有愿因信，
有愿必行。
有信愿行，
得生必定。
[There] is Aspiration due to [having] Faith,
[and] having Aspiration, [there] will [be] Practice.
With Faith, Aspiration [and] Practice,
attaining [of] birth [in Pure Land] will [be] definite.
已愿已生，
今愿今生，
当愿当生，
发愿必生。
[As those who] already aspired [are] already born [there],
[those who] now aspire [are] now born [there],
[and those who] will aspire will [be] born [there],
[with] giving rise to Aspiration, will [there be] birth.
已信愿行，
为何未生？
只因发愿，
未当下生。
[If] already [with] Faith, Aspiration [and] Practice,
why [is one] yet [to be] born [there]?
Only because [the] giving rise [of] Aspiration,
[is] yet [to be for] immediate birth [there].
已信愿行，
莲已发芽，
亦已在生，
待愿身生。
[If] already [with] Faith, Aspiration [and] Practice,
[one’s] lotus [flower is] already budding,
[which is] also already being born,
awaiting [for] Aspiration [of one’s] form [to be] born [too].
