大事偈
修学成熟，
须知如何，
应对自他，
生死大事。
至心念佛，
即能结合，
自他二力，
了脱生死。
Verses On Great Matter
[With] cultivation [and] learning mature,
[all] must know how,
[to] respond [to] personal [and] others’
great matter [of] birth [and] death.
[With the] sincere mind mindful [of] Buddha,
[this] is able [to] combine,
[the] two Self [and] Other Powers,
[for] liberation [from] birth [and] death.
