Great Power Arrived Bodhisattva’s Image’s Praise
如子忆母勤念佛，都摄六根耳听著。
若依大士此开示，因心各得契果觉。
Like [a] child recollecting [the] mother, diligently mindful [of Āmítuó]fó, gathering all six roots, [with the] ears listening receiving. If relying [on the] Great [Bodhisattva] Mahāsattva’s this instruction, causal minds [will] each attain agreement [with the] fruit’s awakening.

势至
Power Arrived
本愿不违，摄念佛人归净土。
分身无量，居极乐国遍十方。
[With] fundamental vows not violated, gathering all persons mindful [of Āmítuó]fó, [to] ‘return’ [to his] Pure Land. [With] divided bodies immeasurable, dwelling [in the] Land [Of] Ultimate Bliss [and] everywhere [in the] ten directions.
都摄六根，获大寂灭。
单提一念，证真圆通。
Gathering all six roots, obtaining great stillness [and] cessation. Only raising singular mindfulness, [to] realise [the] true Perfect Penetration.
以智慧光，普照一切。
乘圆通道，广度众生。
With wisdom’s light, universally illuminating all. Riding [on] Perfect Penetration [Of Mindfulness Of Buddha’s] path, widely delivering sentient beings.

势大势至菩萨偈赞
Great Power Arrived Bodhisattva’s Verse Of Praise
势至菩萨德无疆，辅弼弥陀作慈航。
救苦直同观自在，导西不异普贤王。
修因遍用根尘识，证果俱获圆通常。
摄念佛人归净土，此恩永劫莫能忘。
[With] Great Power Arrived Bodhisattva’s virtue without bounds, [he] assists [Ā]mítuó[fó to] be [a] compassionate ship. [With] saving [of the] suffering directly [the] same [as] Contemplator [With] Ease [Bodhisattva, with] guiding [to the] West[ern Pure Land] not different [from] Universal Virtue’s King [Bodhisattva. With] cultivation’s cause using all [the six] roots, [six] dusts [and six] consciousnesses, realising [the] fruit, together obtaining Perfect Penetration’s constant. Gathering all persons mindful [of Āmítuó]fó [to] ‘return’ [to his] Pure Land, this kindness [is for] eternal kalpas not able [to be] forgotten.
大势至利生深，专主念佛法门。如子忆母忆世尊，直下即蒙恩。因心果觉两相契，立刻返本还源。都摄六根妙难论，愿遍界流存。
Great Power Arrived [Bodhisattva’s] benefitting [of sentient] beings [is] profound, [with] focus mainly [on] Mindfulness [Of] Buddha’s Dharma Door. Like [a] child recollecting [the] mother recollecting [the] World-Honoured [One], directly [and] immediately receiving [his] kindness. [With the] causal mind [and] fruit’s awakening both agreeing [with] each other, immediately returning [to the] root [and] source. [With] gathering [of] all six roots’ wonders difficult [to] discuss, may [it in] all worlds spread [and] remain.
