All Buddhas Proclaim And Praise Āmítuófó’s Name With High Praises
【第十七：诸佛称名赞叹愿】
设我【法藏菩萨】得【阿弥陀】佛，
十方世界无量诸佛，
不悉咨嗟称我名者，
不取正觉。
[既然诸佛正咨嗟称阿弥陀佛名，
他的确已成佛，也创立了净土。
因此愿，我们能得知阿弥陀佛，
对他有大信心，
也获得了往生他的净土的推荐。]
《佛说无量寿经》
[Seventeenth Vow Of All Buddhas Proclaiming Name With High Praises]
If I [Dharma Treasury Bodhisattva] attain Buddhahood [as Amitā(bha) Buddha], should those ten directions’ worlds’ immeasurable all Buddhas, not all highly praise and proclaim my name [Āmítuófó], I shall not obtain Right Awakening.
[As all Buddhas do proclaim and praise Āmítuófó’s name now, he has indeed attained Buddhahood and established his Pure Land. Due to this vow, we can have knowledge and great confidence in him, and also obtain recommendation to be reborn in his Pure Land.]
