盲龟偈
Verses On Blind Turtle
大地成大海，上浮木中孔，
盲龟百年升，甚难探头穿。
With the great earth becoming a great ocean, above with wood afloat, with a hole in the middle, a blind turtle every hundred years ascends, has extreme difficulty to stretch the head through.
愚者不修善，造无量恶业，
轮回无量劫，受尽无量苦。
Those foolish not cultivating good, creating immeasurable evil karmas, are reborn for immeasurable kalpas, to receive immeasurable suffering completely.
欲得珍人身，难过遇木孔，
所以得此身，当往极乐生。
As desiring to attain this precious human body, is more difficult than meeting the wooden hole, therefore having attained this body, there should be going towards the Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss to be born.
