念佛得轻报，亦蒙佛接引
[45] [Those] Mindful [Of The] Buddha [Will] Attain Lighter Retribution, Also Receiving [The] Buddha’s Guidance [And] Reception
念佛人但能真切念佛，自可仗佛慈力，免彼刀兵水火。
People mindful [of the] Buddha, [who are] only able [to] truly [and] sincerely [be] mindful [of the] Buddha [Āmítuófó (阿弥陀佛)], naturally can rely [on the] Buddha’s compassionate power, [to] avoid those weapons, wars, floods [and] fires.
即宿业所牵，及转地狱重报作现生轻报，偶罹此殃。
Immediately [will] all [by] past [evil] karmas led, and transformed hell’s heavy retribution, become [this] present life’s lighter retribution, occasionally suffering [from] these misfortunes.
但于平日有真切信愿，定于此时蒙佛接引。
However, in ordinary days having true [and] sincere Faith [and] Aspiration, [they will] definitely at these times receive [the] Buddha’s guidance [and] reception.
若夫现证三昧，固已入于圣流，自身如影，刀兵水火，皆不相碍。
If those [in this] present [life have] realised samādhi, certainly already [having] entered [the] noble stream, [with] their bodies like reflections, weapons, wars, floods [and] fires, [are] all not [able to] obstruct one another.
纵现遇灾，实无所苦。而茫茫世界，曾有几人哉？
Even if appearing [to] encounter disasters, [they are] truly without any suffering. Yet, [in this] vast world, formerly were [there] how many [of such] people?
