[10] Tenth Month: [From The] Tenth Month Originating…
十月由来是小春，
桃红初破一枝新。
[From the] tenth month originating is [a] minor spring, [with] peach [flowers’] redness first breaking [on] each branch renewed.
长看旧冢添新冢，
每见新人送旧人。
Long seeing old burial mounds added [with] new burial mounds, often seeing new persons sending off old persons.
万劫死生谁动念，
百年身世独伤神？
[On] ten thousand kalpas [in the cycle of] birth [and] death, who pondered, [with a] hundred years’ life experiences, only injuring [the] consciousness?
回头便是西方路，
只要当人愿力真。
Turning [the] head, then is [the] Western path, only needing that person’s vow’s power [to be] true.
