不修净业，莫出轮回
[184] [If] Not Cultivating Pure Karma, Not Exiting [From] Rebirth
佛法无一人不堪修，亦无一人不能修。
[The] Buddha’s Dharma [is] without one person [who] cannot cultivate [it], also without one person [who is] not able [to] cultivate [it].
[Note 1: In fact, everyone should learn and practise the Buddha’s teachings, especially the Pure Land teachings.]
但能念念知不修净业生西方，则长劫轮回，莫之能出。
However, [be] able [to, from] thought [to] thought, know [that if] not cultivating pure karma [to be] born [in the] Western [Pure Land Of Ultimate Bliss (西方极乐世界)], then [as] those [for] long kalpas reborn, not [as] those able [to] exit.
[Note 2: As the Pure Land path is the only feasible one for liberation in this Dharma-Ending Age (末法时期), it should always be remembered that if it is abandoned, there will be no hope for escape in this life.]
以兹自愍愍他，自伤伤他，大声疾呼，俾近而家人，远而世人，同修此道。其利益较之唯求自了者，何止天地悬隔也！
With this personally sympathising [and] sympathising others, personally sorrowful [and] sorrowful [for] others, loudly [and] quickly call [it out], so that [those] near and family members, [with those] far and [the] world’s people, [can] together cultivate this path. [Of] these benefits, comparing them [with] those [from] only seeking personal liberation, how [can their] differences only [be those between the] sky [and the] abyss?
[Note 3: These benefits’ meritorious virtues (功德) will be immeasurably greater for one and all as they arise from sharing of the Pure Land path with the Bodhi Mind (菩提心), to benefit as many beings as possible.]
