Verses [On] Unity [As] One
Principles [and] practices must [be in] perfect harmony, knowledge [and] practice need [to be] united [as] one. [With] true knowledge definitely [is] true practice, [and] true practice contains true knowledge.
[With] listening [and] contemplating yet not cultivating, [is] as if yet [to truly] listen [and] contemplate. [With] cultivating yet without listening [and] contemplating, [is] as if yet [to] truly cultivate.
[Those with] faith [and] understanding not [having] practice [and] realisation, [are] similar to [those] yet [to have] faith [and] understanding. [Those with] ‘practice [and] realisation’ without faith [and] understanding, [are] similar to [those] yet [to have] practice [and] realisation.
[As] Faith [and] Aspiration guides true Practice, Practice thus expresses Faith [and] Aspiration. [Those] without Faith [and] Aspiration [are] without Practice, [and those] without Practice [are] without Faith [and] Aspiration.
Knowing [And] Practising [Are] United [As] One
Yet [to] have [are]
those ‘knowing’ yet not practising.
[Those] ‘knowing’ yet not practising,
[are] only yet [to have] knowing.
