After [offering] guidance, everyone [should] together maintain wholeheartedness with mindfulness [of Āmítuófó, with] certain hope [for the] dying [person to be] directly reborn [in the] Western [Pure Land], after that ending [with some further post-death support-chanting].
[As those] able [to help] accomplish other persons’ rebirths [in Pure Land], waiting until [when they] themselves [are] approaching [life’s] end, [they will] definitely be those [with] great accomplishment [of] their [own] rebirths, [there] must not [be] with [others] not relating [to] oneself then neglecting them.
As for [the] same society’s friends [of the] path [of] mindfulness [of] Buddha, [in] ordinary times, [they] should with family members within [their] families, speak [of the] benefits of support-chanting [when] approaching [life’s] end.
