Verses For Relieving Suffering
[When] pain [and] suffering manifest presently,
[do] not abide [upon their] afflictions.
[If] desiring [to] attain great peace,
peacefully abide [upon] Āmítuófó’s name.
[With] mindfulness [of] Buddha eradicates [negative] karma,
definitely attaining peace [of] mind.
[With] suffering [and] afflictions seen clearly,
managing then [with] tranquillity.
