Today, the 19th of the 2nd lunar month, is Guānshìyīn Bodhisattva’s sacred birthday. Homage to the one with great loving-kindness and compassion Guānshìyīn Bodhisattva.
一者上合
十方诸佛
本妙觉心，
与佛如来
同一慈力。
First, I became united above with the ten directions’ all Buddhas’ fundamental wonderfully awakened minds, with the Buddha Thus Come Ones, of the same one power of loving-kindness.
二者下合
十方一切
六道众生，
与诸众生
同一悲仰。
Second, I became united below with the ten directions’ all six paths’ sentient beings, for all sentient beings, with the same one compassionate regard.
