Amituofo’s Pure Land was created
out of his perfect compassion and wisdom,
for guiding us,
for perfecting our compassion and wisdom.
Even if you think it is unnecessary,
his Pure Land is still for you,
who might otherwise take a longer time,
to realise Nirvana.
As long as your compassion and wisdom
is not yet perfected,
it makes perfect sense
to aspire for birth in his Pure Land.
Even if I feel unworthy,
his Pure Land is still for fools like me,
who are otherwise lost,
destined to wander in Samsara.
As long as I wish to better my compassion and wisdom
to advance towards perfection,
it makes perfect sense
to aspire for birth in his Pure Land.
