念佛永离兵劫往西方偈
世路风霜，是炼心之境。
世情冷暖，是忍性之境。
世事颠倒，是修行之资。
循环劫数最悲伤，脱苦无如极乐邦。
专念弥陀离此土，勤持佛号入莲乡。
红尘影里前生业，白刃丛中后世殃。
誓愿今生归净土，永离兵劫往西方。

Verses [On] Mindfulness [Of] Buddha [To] Forever Depart [From] War Disasters [With] Rebirth [In The] Western [Pure Land]
[The] world’s path’s winds [and] frost, are situations for refining [the] mind. [The] world’s cold [and] warmth, are situations for restraint [of] predispositions. [The] world’s matters inverted, are resources for cultivating practice.
Cycling [for] numerous kalpas [is] most sorrowful, [while] liberation [from] suffering [is] without [that] like [the] Ultimate Bliss’ country. [With] focused mindfulness [of Ā]mítuó[fó] depart [from] this land, [with] diligent upholding [of the] Buddha’s name enter [the] lotus homeland. [From] red dust’s shadows within’s past lives’ karma, [is hell’s] naked swords’ forest within [as] later lives’ misfortune. Vow [to, in] this life ‘return’ [to] Pure Land, [to] forever depart [from] war disasters [with] rebirth [in the] Western [Pure Land].
