感应如钟鸣
[69] Connections’ Responses [Are] Like [A] Bell’s Sounds
感应之道,如撞钟然。
[The] path of connection [and] response, [is] like striking [a] bell thus.
叩之大者则大鸣,叩之小者则小鸣。
Those [with] knocking that [is] great, then [have a] great sound, [and] those [with] knocking that [is] little, then [have a] little sound.
世每有小感而大应者,乃宿生修持之功德所致也。
[In this] world, those [who] often have little connections, yet [having] great responses, [these are] thus [from their] past lives’ meritorious virtues of practices, [from] those caused.
