第十八：十念皆生我国愿（重信资粮）
Eighteenth Vow Of Those With Ten Thoughts All Born In My Land (Emphasising Faith Provision)
设我得佛，十方众生，至心信乐，欲生我国，乃至十念，若不生者，不取正觉。唯除五逆，诽谤正法。
If I attain Buddhahood, of the ten directions’ sentient beings, with the [Utmost] Sincere Mind of joyful faith, desiring birth in my land, and even with ten thoughts, if there are those not born there, I shall not obtain Right Awakening. Only excluded are those with the Five Heinous Transgressions, who slandered the Right Dharma.
第十九：勤修我皆接引愿（重愿资粮）
Nineteenth Vow Of Those With Diligent Cultivation All Received And Guided By Me (Emphasising Aspiration Provision)
设我得佛，十方众生，发菩提心，修诸功德，至心发愿，欲生我国，临寿终时，假令不与大众围绕现其人前者，不取正觉。
If I attain Buddhahood, of the ten directions’ sentient beings, for those who give rise to the Bodhi Mind, cultivate all meritorious virtues, with the [Utmost] Sincere Mind give rise to the aspiration, desiring birth in my land, when approaching life’s end, if I do not, with a great assembly surround and appear before these persons, I shall not obtain Right Awakening.
第二十：系念必得往生愿（重行资粮）
Twentieth Vow Of Those With Continual Mindfulness Definitely Attaining Rebirth (Emphasising Practice Provision)
设我得佛，十方众生，闻我名号，系念我国，植众德本，至心回向，欲生我国，不果遂者，不取正觉。
If I attain Buddhahood, should the ten directions’ sentient beings, who hear my name, be continually mindful of my land, plant all virtuous roots, with the [Utmost] Sincere Mind dedicating, desiring birth in my land, have those not with this fruit fulfilled, I shall not obtain Right Awakening.

若有众生，愿生彼国者，发三种心，即便往生。何等为三？一者至诚心，二者深心，三者回向发愿心。具三心者，必生彼国。
If there are sentient beings, aspiring for birth in that land, giving rise to three kinds of minds, they will immediately attain rebirth. What are the three? First is the Utmost Sincere Mind, second is the Profound [Faithful] Mind, and third is the Mind Of Dedication With Giving Rise Of Aspiration [to be born]. Those complete with these Three Minds, will definitely be born in that land.
三愿三资粮三心偈
Verses On The Three Vows, Three Provisions And Three Minds
摄生三愿，
须至诚心，
修三资粮，
信愿与行。
Aligning with the Three Vows For Gathering Sentient Beings, there must be the [Mind (i)] Utmost Sincere Mind, cultivating the Three Provisions, of [Provision (1)] Faith, [Provision (2)] Aspiration and [Provision (3)] Practice.
深心信乐，
切愿即是，
回向发愿，
欲生我国。
The [Mind (ii)] Profound [Faithful] Mind is joyful [Provision (1)] Faith. Sincere [Provision (2)] Aspiration then is the [Mind (iii)] Mind Of [Vow 20/19/18] Dedication With Giving Rise Of Aspiration (回向发愿心), desiring birth in my [Pure] Land.
实行即是，
闻我名号，
乃至十念，
系念我国。
True [Provision (3)] Practice then is to [Vow 20/18] hear my name (Āmítuófó), and even with ten thoughts, be continually mindful of my [Pure] Land.
更上即是，
植众德本，
发菩提心，
修诸功德。
Even higher then is [Vow 20] planting all virtuous roots, and [Vow 19] giving rise to the Bodhi Mind, to cultivate all meritorious virtues.
