Sòng Dynasty’s Kějiǔ (Xūngōng, Xú Dàogū, Sūn Shí’èrláng)
可久，不详其所出，居明州。
Kějiǔ [which means, ‘can practise for long’], with place of origin unclear, lived in Míngzhōu.
常诵《法华》，愿生净土，人号为久法华。
As he constantly recited the [Wonderful] Dharma [Lotus] Flower Sūtra《妙法莲华经》, and aspired to be born in Pure Land, people named him as Jiǔ Fǎhuá [which means, ‘long-time practitioner of the Dharma Flower Sūtra’].
元祐八年，年八十一，坐化。
In Yuányòu’s eighth year [i.e. 1093 C.E.], aged eighty-one, he sat and departed.
越三日，还谓人曰：「吾游净土，见诸胜境，与经符契。此间修净业者，莲华台上，皆已标名。标金台者，一成都广教院勋公，一明州孙十二郎，一可久。标银台者，一明州徐道姑。」言讫，复化去。
Passing three days, he returned and said to people, ‘I have travelled to the Pure Land, and have seen all in its supreme realm, which are with that in the sūtras the same. Those in this world cultivating pure karma, on lotus flower daises above, are all already with labelled names. Of those labelled on golden daises, one is Chéngdū’s Guǎngjiào [Vast Teachings] School’s Xūngōng, one is Míngzhōu’s Sūn Shí’èrláng, and one is Kějiǔ. Of those labelled on silver daises, one is Míngzhōu’s Xú Dàogū.’ Having spoken completely, he again departed.
五年，徐道姑亡，异香满室。
Five years later, when Xú Dàogū died, extraordinary fragrance filled the room.
十二年，孙十二郎亡，天乐迎空。
Twelve years later, when Sūn Shí’èrláng died, heavenly music welcomed in the sky.
久言悉验。（净土文）
