赞佛偈
Verse For Praising Buddha
阿弥陀佛身金色，
相好光明无等伦。
Amitā(bha) Buddha’s (Āmítuófó) body is golden in colour, with forms’ excellences and bright light without an equal peer.
白毫宛转五须弥，
绀目澄清四大海。
His white fine [ūrṇā] hair can wind around five Sumerus, with dark blue eyes clear like the four great seas.
光中化佛无数亿，
化菩萨众亦无边。
From his light within manifests innumerable koṭis of Buddhas, with manifested Bodhisattva assemblies also boundless.
四十八愿度众生，
九品咸令登彼岸。
With forty-eight vows delivering sentient beings, and nine [lotus] grades, all leading to ascent on the other shore [of his Pure Land and Buddhahood].
