Bodhisattva Precept For Releasing Sentient Beings (Including Animals):
【第二十不行放救[轻]戒】
若佛子！以慈心故，行放生业。一切男子是我父、一切女人是我母，我生生无不从之受生，故六道众生皆是我父母。而杀而食者，即杀我父母，亦杀我故身。一切地水，是我先身，一切火风，是我本体，故常行放生。生生受生，常住之法，教人放生。若见世人杀畜生时，应方便救护，解其苦难，常教化讲说菩萨戒，救度众生。若父母兄弟死亡之日，应请法师讲菩萨戒经律，福资亡者，得见诸佛，生人天上。若不尔者，犯轻垢罪。

Twentieth [Light] Precept Against Not Practising Releasing And Saving Of Lives
If as Buddhas’ [Bodhisattva] disciples, with the compassionate mind thus, practise the karma of releasing lives. All males are my fathers, and all females are my mothers, from whom, I, life after life, are without those not from them receiving birth. Thus, the six paths’ sentient beings are all my fathers and mothers. Those then killing, then eating them, are then killing my fathers and mothers, also killing my past bodies. As all earth and waters, are my former bodies, all fires and winds, are my original essence, thus constantly practise releasing of lives. From life to life receiving birth, constantly abide in this Dharma, and instruct others to release lives. If, when seeing the world’s people killing animals, they should skilfully save, protect and liberate them from suffering and difficulties, constantly teaching and transforming, explaining and speaking these Bodhisattva Precepts, to save and deliver sentient beings. If on days of fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters’ deaths, they should invite Dharma Teachers to speak these Bodhisattva Precepts’ Sūtras and Discipline, for blessings as provisions for those deceased, to attain sight of all Buddhas, to be born in the human path and the heavenly path above. If there are those not doing thus, they commit a light defiled transgression.

Note: There can also be direct offering of guidance (开示) along the line of the Pure Land teachings, followed by support-chanting (助念), to attain sight of Āmítuófó (阿弥陀佛), who represents all Buddhas, for facilitating rebirth in his Pure Land (净土), which transcends all human and heavenly paths: https://purelanders.com/wake.

【第四十五不化众生[轻]戒】
若佛子！常起大悲心。若入一切城邑舍宅，见一切众生，应当唱言：『汝等众生，尽应受三归十戒。』若见牛马猪羊，一切畜生，应心念口言：『汝是畜生，发菩提心。』而菩萨入一切处，山林川野，皆使一切众生发 菩提心。是菩萨若不发教化众生心者，犯轻垢罪。

[Forty-Fifth [Light] Precept Against Not Transforming Sentient Beings]
If as Buddhas’ [Bodhisattva] disciples, they should constantly give rise to great compassion’s mind. If entering all cities and residences, seeing all sentient beings, they should call aloud, “You all sentient beings, all should receive the Threefold Refuge and Ten Precepts.” If seeing cows, horses, pigs, goats, and all animals, they should in their minds think and with their mouths say, “You are animals, who should give rise to the Bodhi Mind.” And when Bodhisattvas enter all places, mountains, forests, rivers and the wilderness, all should enable all sentient beings to give rise to the Bodhi Mind. These Bodhisattvas, if not giving rise to the mind of teaching and transforming sentient beings, they commit a light defiled transgression.

Suggested Long Verse For Practising The Above:
三归十戒发心偈
汝等众生，应受三归：依佛法僧。
应受十戒：戒杀盗淫、戒妄戒酒、
说四众过、自赞毁他、悭惜加毁、
瞋不受悔、戒谤三宝。发菩提心：
上求佛道，下化众生。深信切愿，
一心常念，阿弥陀佛，生极乐国。
Verse On Threefold Refuge, Ten Precepts And Giving Rise To The Bodhi Mind
You all sentient beings, should receive the Threefold Refuge, by taking refuge in the [i] Buddhas, [ii] Dharma and [iii] Saṃgha. You should receive the Ten Precepts, by abstaining from [1] killing, [2] stealing,[3] sexual [mis]conduct, [4] false speech, [5] [buying, selling and drinking] alcoholic beverages, [6] speaking of the four assemblies’ [of monks, nuns, laymen and laywomen’s] transgressions, [7] self-praising and slandering of others, [8] with miserliness and grudges inflicting slander, [9] with angry minds not accepting repentance, and [10] slandering of the Triple Gem. Give rise to the Bodhi Mind, with higher seeking of the Buddha path, and lower transforming of sentient beings. With deep Faith and sincere Aspiration, wholeheartedly and constantly be mindful of ‘Āmítuófó’, to be born in his Land Of Ultimate Bliss.

众生开示偈
汝当皈依，佛法僧宝，
止恶行善。深信发愿，
生极乐国，一心常念，
阿弥陀佛，见佛跟佛。

Verse For Sentient Beings’ Guidance
You should take refuge, in the Buddhas, Dharma and Saṃgha gem, end evil and practise good. ‘With profound Faith giving rise to Aspiration’, to be born in the Land Of Ultimate Bliss, wholeheartedly and constantly be mindful of Āmítuófó’s name, to see the Buddha and follow the Buddha.
