当今之世，必须认真提倡因果报应。
Nowadays, of [this] world, [there] must [be] earnest promoting [of moral education on the karmic law of] cause [and] effect, [with its rewards and] retribution.
教子固属要务，教女更要于教子。
Teaching [of] sons indeed constitutes [an] important duty, [but] teaching [of] daughters [is] even [more] important than teaching [of] sons.
以人之幼时，常在母边，母若贤，则儿女自然会贤。
With people when young, often often at [their] Mothers’ side, if [these] Mothers [are] virtuous, thus [will their] sons [and] daughters naturally be virtuous [too].
以熏陶化育于平时，习已成性，及长而受父教，则顺流而导，实为易易。
With [such] long-term nurturing in normal times, [with good] habits already becoming [their] nature, and [with] long[-term] receiving [of their] Fathers’ education [too, to] thus accord [with the] flow and [to] guide [them, this will] truly be very easy.
今世之乱至如此，皆无上二种之善教所致。
This age’s chaos [being] like this, [is] all without [the] above two kinds of good education as caused.
